Signs of the Times Magazine Award

Signs of the Times magazine, the industry's oldest sign trade publication, announced the winners of the 2013 International Sign Design Contest.  ShawCraft Sign Company and their lead designer, Jay Allen, took first place in the Murals/Exhibit Graphics category for their Lincoln Highway Interpretive Mural project for the Illinois Lincoln Highway Coalition. This is the second international award for the Lincoln Highway mural project with ShawCraft and Allen receiving a Second Place place award in 2012. The project has also garnered three first place awards from Tourism organizations for both Federal and State contests. To date, 31 murals have been placed in towns along the Illinois Lincoln Highway corridor from the Indiana border to the Mississippi River.  It is one of the largest public art mural projects ever completed.
