Byway Funds Allow Nestucca Bay National Wildlife Refuge To Grow 9/5/13
The Oregon Coast National Wildlife Refuge Complex recently took ownership of the former Jesuits property at Nestuuca Bay. The purchase price of $1,072,500 came from Scenic Byways Funds. They have been working on this for more than 5 years, but it would not have been completed without the Federal Highway Administration/National Scenic Byways Program funding. This is a great example of how Scenic Byway funds were used to help meet both the US Fish & Wildlife Service and the conservation community's missions. More details.

Many of the training modules, tools, marketing resources and publications developed by the America's Byways Resource Center continue to be available to the byway community on the National Scenic Byway Foundation website. This webinar introduced participants to the new website and links to other websites that now host old Resource Center information. This presentation will show you how and where to access this information, and you'll learn about some new resources never before available and a few updates to well-known tools.
