NSBF Issues 2016 Annual Report
Read the full report here. Below is the introduction:
In 2016, the National Scenic Byway Foundation continued to focus on providing ‘Tools, training and support for byway leaders.’ The Foundation’s website at nsbfoundation.com was updated, and it continues to be the place for news, resources and connections to byways and byway leaders.
2016 also marked the 25th anniversary of the National Scenic Byways Program. This report highlights several of our key programs and events, including the Scenic Byways 25! congressional reception. All of this work was made possible by our all volunteer board and committee members, as well as the financial support of our members. Memberships not only support our programs, but help to demonstrate to state agencies, DOTs, and federal legislators that byway communities value the National Scenic Byways Program and the work of the Foundation.
If you are not already, I personally encourage you to become a member, and let us know how we can better serve your byway. Also keep in mind that the Foundation has volunteer and leadership opportunities available at all commitment levels. Maintaining a vibrant national byway community requires a two-way street of support for byways and from byways.

National Summit for Gateway Communities
The 100th anniversary of the National Park Service put a spotlight on the iconic parks that Americans love and cherish. It also directed attention to the need to invest in America’s gateway communities, which welcome and serve the needs of visitors and residents drawn to the magic of our public lands.
